Ridgefield Man, 32, Accused Of Stealing Items From Former Employer’s Building

A 32-year-old man has been accused of stealing items from a former employee’s building in Putnam, police say.

New York State Police say that Karl Knoche of Ridgefield illegally forced his way into a former employer’s business building in Southeast and stole 10 valve regulated lead acid batteries.

Knoche was arrested by NYSP from the Brewster barracks on Thursday, April 5. He was charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.

Knoche was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Southeast Court on Thursday, April 18.
